Media Release for June 10, 2010


Crime Stoppers and Belleville Police are looking for information on a break and enter and theft.

On 2 June, at 3:45 p.m., police attended a residence on Crestview Ave. in response to a complaint of a break and enter. The resident reported that sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence through a side door.

The culprits then stole a laptop and electronics and electronic games.

 


Crime Stoppers and Belleville Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of an ice-fishing hut.

On May 7, Conservation Officers of the Ministry of Natural Resources located pieces of an ice-fishing hut resting on the lake bottom of East Lake in Prince Edward County.

The ice hut was submerged just below the surface of the water in a bay off of the south shore of East Lake. The hut was made of plywood and the exterior is a reddish brown color. If you have any information regarding this, please call Crime Stoppers
 


Crime Stoppers and Belleville Police are looking for information on a break and enter and theft.

On June 6, a homeowner on Wilkes Street reported a Break & Enter to her garage. Entry was gained sometime over night from June 5th to the 6th. Suspects took a Silver/grey Nakumara Phenom Mountain bike with an 18-inch frame, tools and hockey sticks.

 


Crime Stoppers and Belleville Police are looking for information on a break and enter and theft.

On June 4, a homeowner on O’Neill Drive, Belleville reported a theft of two Yamaha Wave Runners. Both were on a trailer with plate number H2597A attached.

The trailer and Wave Runners were taken sometime between May 30th and June 4th. The total value of the Wave Runners and trailer is estimated at $15,000.
