Crime Stoppers and Belleville Police are looking for information on an assault that occurred at approx.1:15am on September. 19th, at Bridge St. West at Coleman Street.
A male and female were walking on Bridge St. West when two men approached them from behind accosting the female. The male victim was punched in the face and once on the ground, the second male continued to kick the victim in the head and facial area.
An unidentified male intervened, stopped this brutal attack and drove the couple to the hospital. The victim was eventually released from the Hospital after receiving medical attention.
