On the 19th of July 2009 the Bancroft OPP received the report of a theft from a vehicle on Hastings Street South in the Town of Bancroft. Sometime overnight unknown suspects stole a cell phone and cash from an unlocked vehicle.
On the 20th of July 2009 the Bancroft OPP received the report of a theft from a vehicle on Hastings Street South in the Town of Bancroft. Unknown suspects stole a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.
The Bancroft OPP would like to remind the Bancroft and area residents to protect their vehicles from theft. You can protect your vehicle from the by following a few simple precautions:
• Always roll up your vehicle’s windows and lock the doors.
• If you have a garage, use it and lock the door as well as your vehicle.
• Always park your vehicle in well-lit areas.
