Belleville Police are looking for information on an arson that occurred on April 5 at 86 River Rd. in Corbyville. At 5:10 PM, police and fire were dispatched to the Corbyville Distillery regarding a fully involved structural fire.
Approximately 1 hour previous to the fire, 3 males were observed causing mischief to a rear door in the building. The 3 males then entered a green four-door vehicle and were last seen southbound on River Rd. Also, a few minutes prior to the fire, 3 young males were seen in a red late 90’s type vehicle leaving the rear of the distillery at a high rate of speed heading northbound on River Rd.
There was also a lone male on a dirt bike with a black helmet seen leaving the scene shortly before the fire heading northbound on River Rd. as well.
The investigation has determined the fire to have been deliberately set.
